Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Midlands Mind Clinic website and your engagement of our clinical services. By making an enquiry, booking an appointment, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms. Please also see our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.

Who We Are

Midlands Mind Clinic is a private medical practice operated by Inspire Psychiatry Ltd and led by Dr Roji Thomas, Consultant Neuropsychiatrist, registered with the General Medical Council.

Nature of Our Services

Midlands Mind Clinic provides private consultant-led adult ADHD and Autism assessments, delivered face-to-face in Sutton Coldfield and by video consultation throughout the UK. All services are provided on a private, fee-paying basis.

Midlands Mind Clinic is not registered to provide assessments or treatment under the NHS Right to Choose scheme, and does not accept NHS referrals or funding of any kind. Patients wishing to access NHS-funded assessment should contact their GP.

Booking an Appointment

Appointments may be requested via the website contact form, by email, or by telephone. A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from the clinic. We reserve the right to decline to offer an appointment at our discretion, including where a referral falls outside the scope of services we provide.

Fees and Payment

Fees for assessments and consultations are as advised to you at the time of booking or as published on the website. Fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms confirmed at booking. Prices are subject to change, but any change will not affect an appointment fee already agreed and confirmed with you.

Cancellations, Rescheduling and Non-Attendance

Cancellation and rescheduling of appointments, including applicable fees and refund eligibility, are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Assessments and Clinical Outcomes

Assessments are carried out in line with recognised clinical guidelines and the professional judgement of the assessing clinician. Booking an assessment does not guarantee a particular diagnostic outcome, report finding, or recommendation. Reports and correspondence are prepared solely on the basis of the information, history and any collateral information available at the time of assessment.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Personal and clinical information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Professional Regulation and Standards

Dr Roji Thomas is registered with the General Medical Council and practises in accordance with the standards of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and applicable GMC guidance. Nothing in these terms limits any right you may have to raise concerns with these regulatory bodies.

Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable care in providing our services, Midlands Mind Clinic's liability for any claim arising from the services provided is limited to the fee paid for the relevant appointment or assessment, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Complaints will be acknowledged promptly and handled in accordance with our internal complaints procedure.
